PC Viljoen: Managing director

Born in Kroonstad, PC made his way to Cape Town at 10 years old.
Starting Urbansupply in 2013, while still in High School it was no easy task.
After school PC went on to go study at Stellenbosch University, while running Urbansupply as a side hustle. Once he completed his degree in Agriculture from the University of Stellenbosch he could spend 100% of his focus and time on Urbansupply. When PC is not at Urbansupply you will most probably find him on the Golf Course or at a Braai with his friends.

Werner Hölscher: Head of Sales – SADEC

 Werner hails from the East Rand and has settled in the Winelands since 2012. He boasts 19 years of experience in Key Account – and Sales Management, ranging from Pharmaceutical-, FMCG– and Retail markets. Werner joined Urban Supply four years ago and currently heads-up our sales division in the SADEC-region overseeing Corporate Customers and a highly effective Sales Team. He absolutely lives for hunting sales and strengthening customer relationships. He is a dedicated family-man, and when he’s not on-the-road chasing sales, he pursues his passions… Rugby, Reading, Red Wine & Real Food.  

Rodney Botes: Head of accounts

Born in Kimberley Rodney Matriculated in 1997. At the age of 14 Rodney entered the hospitality industry. After school Rodney started, part time getting his accounting degree and started working in the accounting industry from 1998. In 2017 Rodney got his Accounting diploma in Financial accounting management and started working part time for Urbansupply from 2017, which led to a permanent position as Urbansupply grew. 

Ros Heard: Sales Representative -  Johannesburg,Mpumalanga

Born in Port Elizabeth and lived in Durban and finally she made her roots in Johannesburg. Ros trained as an Aestititian which took her to Paris to study and work and then I took on the role of Product Manager for 5 French cosmetic brands. She have worked as a PR consultant as well as a Graphic Designer. Ros is definitely the most well travelled person at Urbansupply. She visited Israel, Europe, UK, USA, Hungary and Canada.

 Adding to the travel Ros has a hunger for adrenaline.She has done things most people wouldn't dare doing like jumping out of airplanes, scuba diving in the Maldives and skied down a black slope in Switzerland. She has a son of 23 which is studying Fashion design in Florence so one day we all hope to wear some of his famous designs!

Marizelle Verwey: Sales Representative – Western Cape

 Marizelle was born and bred in the East Rand and matriculated in 2014 – Making her our youngest addition to our mighty Sales Force.  She started her career in the tourism industry in a marketing capacity where she focused on planning and executing campaigns for multi-national companies, and events such as The Two Oceans Marathon. Marizelle is currently overseeing all sales and marketing activities in the Western Cape region. When she’s not running around tending to customer-needs, or enjoying the Boland’s outdoors,  she proudly stands as Captain of the Western Province Senior Korfbal-team. Look out for her - You will identify her by her infectious smile!!   


Gavin Vlok: Sales Representative - Pretoria,Limpopo

After matriculation, Gavin did 2 years of National Service, on completion he started is retail career with Phase 2 CD's. After a few years he was offered a Sales Representative position with Sony Music and worked for them for 3 years before rejoining Phase 2 CD's as the Area Manager. Unfortunately after 5 years with them, the music retail industry worldwide crumbled due to downloading and music streaming. Gavin then joined Toyzone as store manager in their flagship store, before joining us. He always puts in 100% in whatever he does and is very service oriented. His hobbies include collecting music and art, painting, drawing and mixed media, he has sold quite a few of his original paintings. 

Tazneem Lewis: Procurement and Administrative assistant

Tazneem is born and raised in Cape Town. She is the newest member of the team. After graduating in 2017 with a National Diploma in Marketing from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, she got her first job as a Marketing assistant and, later, Database Coordinator at Distell.  After 2 years, she went on to work for GC Fires, where she held the position of Logistics and Admin clerk. If she is not sketching or painting, you will find her looking for new marketing trends to broaden her creativity on the web.
